Sir Mike Penning MP meets Dave Fountain and Alan Whitehead from East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust

Hemel Hempstead MP Sir Mike Penning visited the new West Herts Ambulance Station in Maxted Road to discuss progress and concerns with the Ambulance Service.

Sir Mike met with Dave Fountain, Deputy Director for Service Delivery and Alan Whitehead, Sector Head of Service Development, Engagement and Improvement.

Sir Mike said:

“It was a very positive meeting and it was good to learn first-hand the progress being made locally by the East of England Ambulance Service as well as the various challenges facing the service in the future.”

Alan Whitehead Sector Head of Service Development, Engagement and Improvement added, “It is always a pleasure to engage with Sir Mike and provide him with an update on what the East of England Ambulance Service are doing within his constituency, our future plans and the challenges facing us.”

Dave Fountain, Deputy Director for Service Delivery added, “It is always a delight to welcome Sir Mike to our West Hertfordshire Station who has been an advocate of patients and has always a keen interest in our staff and the services EEAST provide”.
