Last week Sir Mike Penning, Member of Parliament for Hemel Hempstead, joined Cllr Mimi Harker OBE, Buckinghamshire Armed Forces Covenant Board Chair and Claire Hamilton, Chief Executive of Dacorum Borough Council on a visit to RAF Halton.

RAF Halton has close links with Dacorum and was granted Freedom of the Borough of Dacorum in 2010.

During the visit, the guests were hosted by Station Commander Group Captain Startup and were given a tour of the RAF Halton estate. They also attended the Graduation of 684 Arnold Intake as Engagement guests.

It was an excellent parade and I am immensely proud of these young men and women and what they have achieved. I congratulate them all and wish them well as they move on to the next stage of their RAF careers. ”
