Sir Mike Penning, Member of Parliament for Hemel Hempstead, is calling on local people to be wary of vaccine scammers.

Sir Mike said:

“The new vaccines for covid-19 are the great success story of this whole pandemic, but it didn’t take long before criminals were taking advantage.

“Incredibly, within days of their approval, criminals have been calling local people offering faster vaccines for a fee.

“Quite simply, the vaccine is only available on the NHS, the NHS will contact you to tell you when and where to get your vaccination and the vaccination is free.

“If anyone calls you asking for personal details or offering to sell you a vaccination, hang up immediately.”
