Hemel Hempstead MP, Sir Mike Penning, planted a tribute in Parliament’s Constituency Garden of Remembrance in New Palace Yard yesterday.

Sir Mike said:

“I am honoured to plant this tribute on behalf of the people of the Hemel Hempstead constituency.

“With all that is going on in the world, especially in Gaza and Ukraine, it is perhaps more poignant and important than ever that we remember the sacrifices made on our behalf in previous conflicts. We must never take our freedom for granted or forget what it cost.

“We will remember them.”
