Hemel Hempstead MP, Sir Mike Penning, has sent good wishes to HM The King following the announcement of his cancer diagnosis and the start of treatment.

Sir Mike said:

“I send His Majesty the very best wishes and support. I wish him a speedy recovery and my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

“Further, I must take this opportunity to thank him for his decision to make the diagnosis public and thereby raise the profile of cancer and the importance of catching it early. I would urge anyone who has concerns about changes in their body that could be linked to cancer to make sure they get it looked at as soon as possible.”
